Return of the Mighty Nimrods and the Showing They Made.

The Annual Spring Hunt of the Omaha Sportsman's Club, and its Results.

Wednesday the 19th inst. being set for the annual spring hunt of the Omaha Sportsman's club, the association was divided into two parties, headed by Captain's Taylor and Hughes and betook themselves to the field. Taylor, R.N. and John Withnell, Dr. Peabody, Yates, Thrall and VanOrman went to Hartlett. Cooper, Hughes and Preston went to Elkhorn, Petty and Jones to Herman, Phillips and Sutphen to Shell Creek, Kennedy and Barriger below Council Bluffs, Judge Lake below Gilmore, Kimball to Columbus, Furay to Mondamin, Coffman and Patrick to Fremont.

The hunters had a fine day for their sport and returning yesterday, Sutphen's establishment on Douglas street, the headquarters of the club, was overwhelmed with the nimrodian trophies.

The club shot their game, man against man, the losing one forfeiting two dollars each to the treasury of the association.
